CREAMY MASHED POTATOES

I love mashed potatoes, I could have them as a side dish with every single meal. This is my healthy yet creamy and buttery mashed potato recipe, I hope you enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 450 g POTATOES RED POTATOES OR DUTCH CREAM POTATOES
  • 1 tbsp NUTRITIONAL YEAST
  • 2.5 tbsp SOY MILK
  • 1 tsp GARLIC POWDER
  • 1 tsp ONION POWDER
  • 1/2 tsp CHIVES
  • 1/4 tsp SALT
  • 1/4 tsp BLACK PEPPER CRACKED

Instructions

  1. PEEL & DICE POTATOES. KEEP IN MIND- THE SMALLER YOU DICE THE POTATOES, THE FASTER THEY WILL COOK.

  2. BRING A POT OF WATER TO THE BOIL AND BOIL POTATOES FOR 10-12 MINUTES OR UNTIL SOFT ENOUGH TO MASH.

  3. STRAIN WATER FROM POTATOES AND RETURN THE POTATOES TO A POT.

  4. ADD NUTRITIONAL YEAST, GARLIC POWDER, ONION POWDER, PEPPER AND SALT.

  5. MASH POTATOES USING A HANDHELD POTATO MASHER

  6. ADD SOY MILK

  7. MASH THE POTATOES USING A STICK BLENDER OR ELECTRIC MIXER.

  8.  SPRINKLE THE CHIVES OVER THE POTATO

  9. SERVE & ENJOY.
