BASIC PANCAKES

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup of almond milk
1 ‘no egg’ or ‘egg eqivilent’ such as a mashed banana/flax egg/chia egg
1 tbsp vanilla essence
1 cup self raising flower
1/4 cup caster sugar

METHOD:

1. Whisk together almond milk, egg replacement and vanilla together in a bowl or a jug. Sift self raising flour into a large bowl and stir in the caster sugar. Create a well in the center of the flour/sugar mixture and pour in the milk mixture slowly, stirring in the flour combination.

2. Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat (if it is a good pan, you wont need any oil or margarine).

3. Pour pancake mixture in to pan and cook until mixture shows signs of bubbling all over, flip pancake, cook until the pancake is cooked through and then remove from the pan.

4. TOP WITH WHATEVER YOU PLEASE!
